Imagin standing on the balcony of your holiday room and enjoying the great view over the roofs of Zell am See. Not far in sight is the Zeller Lake which is surrounded by round edged mountains. In summer its water appears to be deep green - beeing a mirror for the green flora all around. In winter the picture is different - the lake is frozen and on its ice people seem to be busy walking, icescating and icesailing. But the best - it is quiet! Quietness is what you'll be looking for in your holiday. It's not the traffic that will wake you up every morning, it's probably the singing of the birds in the trees ...

Winter in Zell am See
Did you ever walk on a frozen lake – did you ever enjoy the clear and fresh air in winter? You should never miss this two activities – you will be more than impressed.
Your holiday hotel is situated in an ideal location; quiet, yet 50m from the lake, which is usually frozen during the winter months, and 400m from the entrance onto the Schmittenhöhe ski area.
The ski bus stop for the Kitzsteinhorn is within a few minutes reach.

More than 85 % of the slopes are covered with artificial snow (if we do not get enough of the natural one) and also the glaciar of the Kitzsteinhorn is onliy 8 km from the town Zell am See.

Nobody will miss winter feeling in Zell am See. Regardless whether it is cross country skiing, horse riding, winter walking or ice skating: we offer something to suit everyone's tastes. Zell am See does not lie in a narrow valley, unlike many other winter sport towns, but in a wide, sunny basin. A magnificent mountain world raises up all around. The valley offers extensive cross-country tracks and many riding and walking paths. Besides this, from around the middle of January the frozen Lake Zell offers an extensive arena for all those who like to move on ice. On the other hand, perhaps you prefer an original tobogganing party or a romantic sleigh ride? Once a week we organise a trip through the snow-covered winter landscape, or an amusing tobogganing party from the hotel.

5. VILLA BECKER
Description:
Villa Becker, a comfortable Alps apartment, is located in Zell am See and is ideal for winter and summer recreation on this luxury ski resort. Only several meters away from the ski accommodation, there is a valley station of the Schmittenhöhebahn (cable car). Downhill skiing is possible to and from the villa itself. It takes about 25 minutes to walk to the Zeller Lake and to the pedestrian area of Zell am See. You have a picturesque view onto the lake and the mountains.
The villa with its glamorous design Austrian Alps apartments is imbedded into a large piece of land of 3000 m2, surrounded by woods, and creates a feeling of seclusion and peace. Villa Becker, the famous apartment in the west of Austria, has a separate gateway of its own, equipped with a security system and video surveillance. Furthermore, there is a summer swimming pool on the site.
Interior:
The villa consists of two levels and is intended for three units.
On the ground floor you will find the general part. It comprises an entrance hall with a wardrobe, an atrium with a dining place and a tiled stove, a big living-room with an open fireplace, and a terrace for barbeque.
Moreover, there are two bedrooms, WC and a bathroom. On the basement there is an additional bedroom.
On the first floor of the newly-renovated ski accomodation there are two separate blocks, each of it contains two bedrooms with double beds – the supply of an additional single bed is possible. The bathroom contains a bathtub and WC. In addition, one of the bathrooms consists of a Jacuzzi with a big special “adventure-shower” and a sauna.
The interior of the Villa is designed with modern equipment; especially the kitchen consists of modern kitchenware that adds comfort to your stay at the luxury ski apartment.
The total living area of the villa amounts to 330sqm, which is comfortable for accommodating 12 adults which are included in the rent. Further, there is a double room in the groundfloor providing additional 2 sleeping places for free (the laundry, however, is payable). This double room was thought to be for staff and nannies, and is equipped with shower/WC. In total, 14 persons (adults and children) may live in the villa at once - the necessary extra beds may be rented against additional payment.
Furthermore, a carport is also provided (garage for two cars on request).
Furthermore it is also possible to order meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) beforehand. This service, however, is not included in the rental price.
