Sliema
Sliema is one of Malta’s main coastal resorts and is popular for tourists from all over because of its shopping, good restaurants and café life and also its main promenade which runs from the busy Strand area to the picturesque Ballutta Bay in St Julians. Situated on the Strand side is the bay, which separates Sliema and Valletta, Malta’s capital and a protected world heritage city. Further round along Tower Road the promenade meanders round the inlets for around 5km allowing for an enjoyable leisurely stroll and a sociable meeting place for the locals. The views from Sliema whether on Tower Road looking at St Julians or on the Strand taking in the Valletta skyline are stunning. Sliema is not just a popular place for divers to base themselves but tourists in general.  St. Julians
St Julian's is the gateway to Sliema and Paceville. Situated next to Sliema it is home to some nice restaurants, bars and also some of Malta's busiest streets. Spinola Bay, once a simple bay where fishermen fished for generations is home to one of Malta's most picturesque corners and features some nice restaurants which enjoy a romantic setting and nice view. Another bay, Ballutta Bay is situated a short stroll away and is popular for evening walks. St Julians is a popular place for divers to base themselves as it gives them easy access to most of the islands dive sites and also it gives more options to the non diver or for the diver looking for other activities in the evening.
